Within the S.T.A.R.S Domiciliary Group, we provide a day centre service for individuals with ASD and related disorders. Autism Communication Education for Life (ACE) is a centre that provides daytime activities for adults. We will provide a care programme utilising the DIR® model to ensure it is right for the individual’s care package. Learning never stops. We believe that young adults with autism and related conditions can continue to grow and develop their life skills.
At ACE we provide a setting that enables young adults to develop skills, as well as a nurturing environment for well-being.
Our programme of activities includes: Cooking, Gardening, Music sessions, Art and Craft making, Social skills, Communication groups and Chat clubs, Swimming, Exercise, Yoga, Personal hygiene, Volunteer work opportunities in the local community.
We provide 48-week full day placements Monday to Friday between the times of 9am – 6pm.
Transport to and from your place of residence is also provided on request
