Management Team
At S.T.A.R.S we have an enthusiastic leadership team that are dedicated, knowledgeable and great mentors to our support workers and Individuals. With a wealth of experience between them in the care sector, they inspire our service with their own hands on and committed approach. Professionally trained and skilled at responding to the needs of our Individuals/clients, their person centred thinking makes working and being supported by S.T.A.R.S Domiciliary Care an inclusive experience.
Our management team consists of Responsible Individual Rob, Registered Manager Kellyann, Assistant Service Manager Catherine, Care Co-ordinator Amy, Administration Officer Chloe and Senior Support Workers Callum, Gareth and Charlotte.
Rob
Responsible Individual
Company Director Rob is also S.T.A.R.S Domiciliary Care’s Responsible Individual. His role is to oversee management of the whole service, constantly reviewing and improving the quality of care provided and promoting a culture of openness and accountability. Prior to working in the care sector, in his role working for the Welsh Government, Rob was involved in the development and implementation of mentoring and quality assurance systems for newly qualified teachers at both local and national level. Rob graduated from Cambridge University and is also a qualified Health and Social Care manager. In both careers, Rob has always been passionate about helping individuals to develop and progress.
Kellyann
Registered Manager
Kellyann holds a QCF level 5 in Health and Social Care Adults management and a BSc degree in Psychology and as our Registered Manager has a broad range of experience within the care sector. She has worked in and developed a range of services during her career in complex mental health, including personality disorder and forensic, drug & alcohol rehabilitation, dual diagnosis, domestic & sexual violence, trauma and eating disorders. Kellyann is a real team player and is always quick to praise and value staff for the amazing work they do.
Catherine
Assistant Service Manager
Assistant Service Manager Cath supports Kellyann in leading and managing our staff teams. A holistic approach to health and well-being is something that Catherine is passionate about. With a degree in Health and Social Care and a Master’s degree in Public Health, she is keen to have a positive impact on the lives of our Individuals and to help them reach their full potential.
Chloe
Care Co-ordinator
Our Care Co-ordinator Chloe is responsible for ensuring our support workers are appropriately allocated to our Individuals so that care is delivered on time, safely and in line with our Individual’s wishes. With a degree in Sports Therapy and many years experience in the care field, Chloe has always had people's well-being as her focus. Her supportive and calm manner together with her excellent organisational and communication skills make Chloe the perfect choice for this important role in our company.
Callum
Senior Support Worker
Callum has been with the company from the start and is very experienced in both residential and outreach support. His calm and laid back approach works well when Individuals sometimes present with challenging behaviour.
Gareth
Senior Support Worker
Gareth is one of our longest serving staff members, and his experience working in both residential and supported living care settings, has developed his excellent person-centred approach, ensuring that the Individuals he supports are central to his focus. His speciality is building great relationships, finding out what interests Individuals and using that to motivate them to achieve their goals.
Charlotte
Senior Support Worker
After studying Health and Social Care at A Level, Charlotte developed a keen interest in supporting vulnerable people in the community. Her studies for a Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with Psychology and work as a Well-being Officer in a prison gave her further understanding of mental illness, personality disorder, learning disability and autism. Animal lover Charlotte supports the well-being of the Individuals in one of our female supported living projects.
Support Workers

All our staff undergo a rigorous recruitment process, with candidates attending interviews with the senior management, an enhanced DBS check, reference checks and a thorough induction process.
We have compulsory training courses in Moving & Handling, First Aid, Medication Administration and Safeguarding & Protection to ensure the best quality of care we can provide.
We also provide ongoing training and courses in various subjects including, but not limited to, Mental Health, Autism Spectrum Conditions, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health, Equality & Diversity, Health & Safety, Food Safety, Mental Capacity, Infection Control, Fire Safety and Behaviours that Challenge.
